We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Ortho/Spine – Evenings (HJD). To qualify you must have a Master’s Degree in Nursing, Board Certified Acute Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive privileges plus 5 years of acute care RN experience. Prior NP experience is preferred. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills a must. The successful candidate will manage the care of patients on the Spine and Ortho inpatient units; provide patient/staff education and develop practice protocols. The NP will also work in a collaborative practice caring for adult patients post operatively. Responsibilities include performing physical assessments and therapeutic and diagnostic procedures; discharge planning and coordinating patient care with other members of the interdisciplinary health care team. Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
